A fire of that magnitude cannot be controlled by one or two fire extinguishers. The fire engulfed from the bottom which will be in accessable from the top level properly. Also these AC busses do not have proper entrance to reach ones seats, passengers have to overtake others, wade through luggage and throw themselves into seats with the silent abuses of the fellow passengers. Since space is a constraint the management due to price of the bus management tries to use every inch of the bus.
ReplyDeleteThe only way is to keep it safe even from large fire is having the complete glass of the window with a latch and lever whch can be opened just you open your window at home. It needs to have hydraulic control so that it will fall back on the passenger, just like the arrangement made to the trunk of a car etc.
Hence in case of fire accidents, each person can have an escape access without the obstruction from any thing else.
Even arrangement like collapsable windows is very good.
